Saturday, 04/09/11: Christian Hawkey and Michael Earl Craig

On Saturday, April 9th at 7 pm Christian Hawkey and Michael Earl Craig will read for The Clean Part Reading Series. Just like the previous Clean Part event, the reading will be held at the Drift Station Gallery, which can be found at the intersection of 18th & N in downtown Lincoln, NE. Christian Hawkey has written three full-length collections and three chapbooks of poetry. His newest book, Ventrakl, a cross-genre exploration of the life and work of Georg Trakl, has just been released by Ugly Duckling Presse. His work has been translated into thirteen languages.

Michael Earl Craig is the author of Can You Relax in My House (Fence Books, 2002), Yes, Master (Fence Books, 2006), and Thin Kimono (Wave Books, fall of 2010). He lives near Livingston, Montana where he shoes horses for a living.
